Free Knitting Pattern – Fluffy Ribs and Eyelets Beanie
This super lightweight and fleecy soft beanie is perfect for mild weather wear. The pattern consists of simple yet delicate eyelet rib panels separated by purl stitches and repeated with a nice transition from a K2, P1 ribbed hem. The panels meet at the top creating a beautiful starburst shape at the crown.
It is knit up with Knit Picks Wonderfluff (see affiliate statement at the top of this post) in one of my new favourite colours, Goji Heather. This yarn is a luxurious mix of baby alpaca, merino wool and nylon. It knits up quick with a bulky gauge but is so incredible light and fluffy, it doesn’t feel like a bulky yarn at all, it’s more like a billowy cloud.
And this colour, WOW! Goji Heather is a gorgeous eye-catching berry red, a perfect accent for fall and winter.
If you would like a bit more of a slouch beanie or a folded rim there is plenty of yarn left in the ball to add one or two more 4 round repeats before decreasing.
